Giving Back

“Generous giving really is the most fun you can have with money.” – Dave Ramsey

We agree, and giving back is one of Team Intrepid’s core values. These are just a few of the organizations we’ve supported:

At home and abroad, buildOn‘s goal is to break the cycle of poverty, illiteracy and low expectations through service and education. Across the U.S., buildOn empowers urban youth to transform their neighborhoods through intensive community service and to change the world by building schools in some of the economically poorest countries in the world.

Charlotte Young Lives (Young Life’s ministry for teen moms) brings pregnant and parenting teens and their babies together for support, encouragement and fun.

United Way of Moore County supports and partners with agencies that provide education enhancement for our youth, services to promote economic stability (income) for individuals and families, and support the health and well-being of the people of Moore County, North Carolina.

From games and athletics to drug prevention workshops, Boys & Girls Club of the Sandhills offers young people a range of fun and productive activities. A trained, caring staff creates a stable, supportive environment for children and teens ages 5 to 18. Programs concentrate on developing job readiness, study skills, leadership, self-esteem, good health and social responsibility.

Sandhills/Moore Coalition for Human Care works to alleviate hunger and financial strains of struggling households in Moore County, N.C.  The Coalition offers a wealth of services including food, clothing, and financial assistance as well as programs to assist families to become self-sufficient.
